Technology can do anything yet new adventures are controlling the activities of human but now this technology will rule the country.
Yes, it seems New Zealand got bored with conventional political leaders and made world’s first artificial intelligence politician ‘Sam’.
Nick Gerritsen, a New Zealand based entrepreneur has developed “Sam” that making history because it is world’s first artificial intelligence politician.
Before that, Saudi Arabia became the first country to have granted permission of citizenship to a robot named Sophia. Yes, an artificial intelligence is given the citizenship of a country. Not only this a robot has interacted with the investors at the summit and when investor said “We have a little announcement. We just learned, Sophia; I hope you are listening to me, you have been awarded the first Saudi citizenship for a robot,” to which she answered “Thank you to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I am very honored and proud of this unique distinction,” “It is historic to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with citizenship.”
And, similarly, this politician robot will answer people’s questions on policies around housing, education, and immigration and also hope to run as a candidate in next general elections of New Zealand in 2020.
However, this new gift of technology after so much hard work is learning to answer to people through Facebook Messenger.
According to the Hindustan Times, Gerritsen said, “Sam may still help bridge the growing political and cultural divide in many countries. There is a lot of bias in the ‘analogue’ practice of politics right now.”
Gerritsen further added, “There seems to be so much existing bias that countries around the world seem unable to address fundamental and multiple complex issues like climate change and equality.”
He also believes in 2020’s when New Zealand has its next general election SAM will be advanced enough to run as a candidate.
And, “SAM is an enabler and we plan to operate within existing legal boundaries,” he said.
Welcome to the new world.
