Dismantled old Bridge and constructed new!!
In the winter season, due to fog and smog, it becomes really hard for Indian railways to operate trains on the platforms. Due to this season, not only trains but other modes of transport also face delay and in the end, the commuters blame the authorities responsible for it.
But, recently the Indian Railways by their efficiency proved that they are not at fault and nobody can blame them. Near Bundki station, there is a bridge between Nazibabad and Moradabad which is more than 100 years old according to the reports by Nai Duniya. As it was old the train crossing the bridge used to get slow down. The bridge no. 1218 is now being replaced by new construction bridge.
Paritosh Gautam, the Superintendent engineer on January 3 at around 9:35 a.m reached the place. Along with his team, they dismantled the bridge and removed its debris by 1:24 p.m. By 3:05 p.m. the complete structure was laid out and by 5:15 p.m. the new bridge was constructed. During the time period of construction, some of the trains were held up while some were diverted. The hard work of 70 workers paid off in just 7 hours and 20 minutes.
After the construction of new bridge, the first train that crossed it was Link Express traveling from Dehradun to Allahabad. Ajay Kumar Singhal, the divisional railway manager congratulated the entire team who were indulged in the construction process.
