Why Did Popular Websites Remove Their Articles On Anant Ambani’s Speech?

Publications covered Twitter’s reaction to Anant Ambani’s speech delete their stories!

Reliance is the well-known brand not just in India but in the whole world and the Dhirubhai Ambani founded the Reliance industries in Bombay. His sons Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani followed their father’s footsteps and today they are in the top five of India’s richest men. In fact, Mukesh Ambani, the elder Ambani is the richest man in India. And it seems his kids are all set to take ahead the legacy of their father.

Anant Ambani, the elder son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani marked his first public speech at the 40th anniversary of the Reliance group attended by his family, celebs and thousand others. The event was hosted by the Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. Anant’s speech was full of energy and many people on social media praised his speech and find it motivational. While, others started trolling him mercilessly and memes of his speech started circulating on the social media.


The Twitterati went berserk with their memes mocking him over his style of speech. So, how can any website miss this golden opportunity to encash! The reactions Anant’s speech gathered became the topic to be covered by the websites.

Publications like ScoopWhoop, DailyO, Storypick, MensXP, Nyoooz.com, The Social Monk, Social Samosa and International Business Times covered the story on their website but in a hilarious way showing the Twitter’s reaction over his speech.

However, their stories did not stay on air for long. First Scoopwhoop, then Storypick(was sympathetic one) too has removed its article.


The website DailyO made fun of these two websites for deleting the story and wrote: “Cut to 2018, and a Google search on Anant Ambani now throws up a few more articles, two of which (from ScoopWhoop and StoryPick) have now mysteriously disappeared. Why the sudden spike in popularity for the Young Ambani of House Reliance Jio? As it turns out, he’s become a meme”

But, DailyO too pulled down silently its article on Anant Ambani’s speech. On the other hand, the publications which covered the story positively are continuing with their articles.
