Makeover of Chandigarh-Delhi Shatabdi
Indian railways has always faced criticism from the passengers for not providing hygiene, security and other proper facilities. As the time has passed the Indian Railways with their deeds at some level proving people wrong. A few days back they replaced a year old bridge with a new one and the good news is that they dismantled and constructed the whole new bridge in just hours.
The Indian railways are becoming better day by day as more and more trains are getting a makeover and recently under the Swarn project the Chandigarh-Delhi Shatabdi has been renovated. Under the project, now the Shatabdi 12046/12045 C is fire-proof, has one executive coach and nine other chair cars. Rs 2.5 lakh has been spent for each coach of new train and each compartment is equipped with fluorescent strips.
CCTV cameras are installed in the new train and with the increase in the number of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel. The new train now in every term is good as it is best in interiors, toilets, hygiene, and security.
Punctuality, cleanliness, linen, coach interiors, toilets, catering, staff behavior, security, entertainment, housekeeping, and feedback are taken into consideration on the part of a whole.
This yet again proves that as the Nation is on the path of development along with it the Indian Railways too. Well done, Indian Railways!!!
