Insensitive act by UP policemen

In our Indian society if any crime takes place where do we go to complain?? Police station….right?? Because police are common man’s friend. But, now and then we get to hear the incidents which diminish our faith in cops. The latest incident from Uttar Pradesh of three policemen has put humanity to shame.

In UP’s Saharanpur, on Thursday around midnight, two teen boys met with an accident as their bike hit into a pole. The boys identified as Arpit Khurana and Sunny Garg, according to NDTV.

When the passerby saw the two boys bleeding on road they dialed 100 and three policemen who were on night patrol that day reached the spot. In such an emergency situation what they were supposed to do is to take the 17-year-old two boys to hospital. Right??? But, they didn’t do so.

The policemen refused to take the boys to the hospital and kept standing there as they didn’t want the blood stains on their car. Like seriously??? The vehicle from another local police station came and took the boys to the hospital where they were declared brought dead as it was too late by then.

“It’s an unfortunate incident. The policemen acted in an extremely inhumane way. We are taking strict action against them. For now, they have been suspended. I have asked for a report in 24 hours before further action” KS Emmanuel the Deputy Inspector General of Police of Saharanpur Range told NDTV.

Though, not all but few policemen in uniform ruin its reputation.
