Ajay Devgn Is Back As An Income Tax Officer With Film ‘Raid’

Ajay Devgn was last seen in Rohit Shetty-directed Golmaal Again and now he is all set to entertain the audience as actor Ajay Devgn on Tuesday shared the first look of his upcoming movie ‘Raid’ on Twitter. Along with the picture, he wrote “Meet Amay Patnaik – Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow. #RaidTrailer out at 11.30 AM. Stay tuned!”

In the first look unveiled by him, he can be seen sitting on a trunk surrounded by cash, gunny bags, boxes, files, and gold.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh while sharing the picture tweeted “Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla… First look poster of #Raid… Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak… Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta… 16 March 2018 release.”

Well, just a few hours after sharing the first look of Raid on Twitter, Ajay Devgn unveiled the very first trailer for Raid. Well, the movie is a story of an income tax officer based in Lucknow who takes action against corruption to help out the poor.

In the film directed by Raj Kumar Gupta (earlier directed Aamir and No One Killed Jessica), Ajay is playing a role of an honest government officer. Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla are the other stars in the movie. It is being written by Ritesh Shah, who has given hits like Pink and Airlift. This is the second time that Ajay and Ileana will be seen together on screens after Baadshaho.

The film is scheduled to hit on the screens on March 16, 2018.
