The Hawa-Hawai of Bollywood aka first female superstar has taken her last breath at Dubai, where she has a cardiac arrest. Well, still after day the entire nation is in shock and grief.
According to a report in Gulf News, the forensic report of the veteran actor has been handed over to her family and an embassy official. The reports haven’t been opened yet.
“It has been sent to the Bur Dubai police station. Both the representatives have gone to the police station with it. Once it is opened by Dubai Police and the information revealed to them, then the next step in the process of repatriation will be decided,” as per the report.
And, to share the grief her fans took over to Twitter including the film industry, cricket, and politics. “Have witnessed Sridevi’s life from an adolescent teenager to the magnificent lady she became. Her stardom was well deserved. Many happy moments with her flash through my mind. Sadma’s lullaby haunts me now,” posted Sridevi’s ‘Sadma’ co-star Kamal Haasan.
“(Sridevi) was a veteran of the film industry, whose long career included diverse roles and memorable performances. My thoughts are with her family and admirers. May her soul rest in peace,” tweeted PM Narendra Modi.
