As we know Asain Championships 2018 is goping on and today an ace wrestler of India created history by winning a gold in the Senior Asian Championships. Oh, your guesses are right we are talking about wrestler Navjot Kaur who by becomes the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold in the Senior Asian Championship.

World wrestling took to twitter share the overwhelming news of the win of Navjot Kaur:

Navjot clinched the yellow metal in the 65kg freestyle category in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan by defeating Japan’s Miya Imai with a score of 9-1.

On the other side, earlier on the day at Rio Olympics bronze medallist, Sakshi Malik won a bronze in the 62kg freestyle category after getting the better of Kazakhstan’s Ayaulym Kassymova 10-7 in a solid fight. After, Navjot & Sakshi’s win now India has six — a gold, a silver and four bronze medals in its kitty.


Navjot seemed very strong and dedicated throughout the game. As she produced a thoroughly dominating performance against Miya.

Many congratulations to both the champions! India is really proud to have the daughters like them.
